The Listed Real Assets (LRA) program is responsible for investments in public securities in the real assets space. By working in close partnership with the Sustainable Energies, Infrastructure and Real Estate investment groups, LRA enables the Real Assets department to deliver an integrated public and private investment strategy that maximizes alpha, contributes towards desired portfolio construction and facilitates knowledge sharing.
The Listed Real Assets team works closely with the private teams in Infrastructure, Sustainable Energies and Real Estate through pods dedicated to and embedded within each group. The LRA group is focused on delivering a liquid, public markets strategy that allows RA to:
- Enhance the risk-return characteristics of the RA portfolio through greater portfolio coverage of sectors and geographies that are attractive but hard to access in private markets;
- Improve relative value decision making and provide access to exposures that are cheaper in public markets; and
- Deliver alpha from security and sector selection.
