The meetings provide Canadians with an opportunity to engage and ask questions of our senior leaders about how the Fund is working for you. This year, CPP Investments will be hosting in-person public meetings across the country as part of our commitment to engage directly with our more than 22 million contributors and beneficiaries.
The meetings will include an update on the Fund’s performance, governance, and an overview of our approach to investing. Other topics expected to include:
- How we are working to help ensure the retirement security of more than 22 million contributors and beneficiaries over the long term; and,
- The types of investments in the Fund and why we invest in Canada and the broader global market.
Attendees at our meetings will include representatives of local business communities, retiree associations, student investment groups and diverse range of other stakeholders. All are welcome to share their thoughts on topics ranging from how and where we invest, to our risk management approach and the sustainability of the CPP.
